When you look on the Indian culture and the social ethics then can guess that Indian people do not go towards getting a divorce and therefore the divorce rate in India is relatively lower than other countries. You will be surprised to know that divorce rate in India is the lowest among all the countries. Recent surveys stated that 1 out of hundred Indian marriages break up with the divorce that is a very low as compared to other countries like United States of America’s 50% rate. Today there is a situation where man as well as women is earning for themselves and for their family and therefore the ego clashes are frequently occurs between couples and becomes the reason of divorce.
Recent surveys have given us shocking results about the divorce rate in India. In Delhi the divorce rates gone over double and broken the barrier of 12,000 annually. Big cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai and also not far behind and in every urban city the divorce rates are increasing. Kerala which is the most literate state of India has seen the 350% increment in divorce rate in past 10 years and these statistics are really make people think that what is going on in our society. As time is passing and people are getting literate, the divorce rate in India is also getting higher.
